Maltby Street Market
Maltby Street Market, under the railway arches in Bermondsey, is the insider’s alternative to Borough Market. Open weekends, smaller, less tourist-heavy, with an excellent range of artisan producers. The beef short rib sandwich from The Rib Man, if he’s there, is not to be missed.
Kerb Markets
Kerb runs street food markets at several locations including King’s Cross on weekdays and various weekend pop-ups. The quality control is high — traders have to pass a quality assessment to trade. The King’s Cross market, beside the Granary Square fountains, is one of the liveliest lunchtime spots in London.
